Join us at Radstock Green Open Homes to explore energy saving measures and learn about sustainable living. As energy prices rise and the need to reduce carbon emissions becomes more urgent, this event aims to help homeowners and renters to make their homes more energy efficient and affordable to run.
Event highlights:
Expert advice and information: The Trinity Hub will welcome visitors and provide information on energy efficiency, with ‘ask the experts’ talks and advice sessions. Both homeowners and renters can learn how to lower their energy bills and make their homes warmer in the winter.
Learning and workshops: Take part in draught-proofing workshops and enjoy a slow cooking demonstration. You can also get guidance on what grants are available, how to get an assessment done, and how to select a contractor for retrofit projects such as solar and battery systems.
Family friendly activities: Food and refreshments will be available, and a play area for children. We want to make this a community event where everyone can increase their understanding of energy efficiency and appreciate the small changes that make a big difference.
